People, Passions & Projects: Series Introduction

How many times have you heard of people being fed up with their job, being unsatisfied with their life and not 'doing what they really want to do'? Maybe you're in the same position yourself. I think that being disconnected from the tasks and roles we have is a problem that is prevalent in society. But what can we do to change that?

Last year I read a book called "The Element: How Finding your Passion Changes Everything"  by Sir Ken Robinson & Lou Aronica. It highlighted the fact that many of us are dissatisfied with our work but can't explain why, and went on to explain how all of us can find our 'element' - the point at which you discover your talent for something that also ignites a passion within you. This idea interested me, and helped me decide to start this series: People, Passions & Projects.

With People, Passions & Projects I plan to interview, have discussions and connect with people who have found their passion in a certain hobby, job, side-hustle or project. It could be anything, and may not even be related to where they are heading in a 'traditional' sense (e.g. what they are studying or what job they have). The aim of this is to understand why these people are doing what they do, and hopefully act as some inspiration to those looking to try something new.

If you yourself have a project, hobby, business, blog, website etc.. (it can be anything!) that you are passionate about, and would like to talk about it, feel free to reach out and contact me. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the series!
